Jumpin' Kate - is a singer, songwriter, guitarist, and all around entertainer, with a soaring voice, unforgettable original songs and boundless energy, she continues to win over audiences whether she's performing solo or with her band. Her hometown of Lincoln, Ne, Kate loves to entertain.

 

Jumpin' Kate performs classic and contemporary rock and country, as well as reggae, blues, Irish, and originals. These premiere pickers sport a driving rhythm section topped by Kate's powerful vocals, belting out favorite hits from Janis Joplin to Patsy Cline, Heart to Stevie Nicks, and Pat Benetar to Led Zepplin. Performing at venues such as the legendary Stardust, the House of Blues, Toby Keith's bar at Harrah's and Jimmy Buffet's restaurant at the Flamingo, Her act is always fun, with a little kitsch, ie: AC/DC>add feather boa<. Her dynamic stage presence is evidenced in the upbeat music and the easy rapport with audiences, and of course that jumpin' energy, therefore the well- deserved nickname.

DENISE HOWE

As long as I can remember, I've enjoyed performing for audiences.  Even as a child my siblings and I would entertain our parents and neighborhood friends by putting on skits.  Back then the only instrument we had on hand was my mother's piano accordion  so that was my instrument of choice!  As a young adult I picked up a guitar and have not looked back!  Since that time I've played in local and regional bands of different genres.  I've had the honor of opening for numerous national acts, and have been thrilled to meet many of them on a personal level.  In all my time spent onstage, the newness and excitement of performing has never worn off.  It is my hope that this passion for playing and singing is evident for you in my performances....​

Dave is a long time Nebraskan and popular artist, performing locally and regionally for over 35 years.  His musical interests cross all cultural, geographical, and time boundaries, from his Czech roots in polka to traditional and modern world music.  He plays many styles in between from rock and roll and blues, to country swing, folk, reggae, zydeco and New Orleans funk.  He is one of Lincoln's foremost tabla players and teachers. Not only does Dave play a variety of percussion instruments, but enjoys playing other instruments as well such as the guitar, 5-string and tenor banjo, hammered and lap dulcimer, and fiddle and mandolin.
